He will best be remembered for his role as high school student Arnold Dingfelder Horshack on the ABC sitcom 'Welcome Back, Kotter', which aired from 1975 to 1979. After the series ended, he appeared in roles on several television shows such as 'Love Boat', Laverne and Shirley', 'The A-Team', 'Matt Houston', 'Trapper John, M.D.' and 'One Life to Live'. On film he appeared in 'Skatetown U.S.A.' (1979), 'Doin' Time' (1985), 'Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI' (1986), 'Hellgate' (1980) and 'The Guardians' (2010). He later returned to teaching at the University of Connecticut, his alma mater. (bio by: Louis Mata)
