Mrs. N. E. Jordon Dies After Three Months Of Illness

Mrs. Nannie Elizabeth Jordan, widow of the late J. W. Jordan, died at the home of her son in law, William B. Smith, in the First District Sunday morning.

Final rites were held yesterday afternoon at Pleasant Hill Church. Rev. Tom Carrick officiated at 2 o'clock, and burial was in Centertown Cemetery.

A daughter of Henry C. and Betty Ann (Whitlock) Williamson. Mrs. Jordon was born in Warren County on June 15, 1885. She was married to M. Jordan on July 15, 1902. He died in August 1952. Mrs. Jordan was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a son, Thurman Jordan, Indianapolis, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. William B. Smith, at whose home she died; Mrs. Brown Prater, Daylight, and Mrs. Harold Woodlee, Indianapolis, Ind.; three brothers, Joe Williamson, Florida; Wesley Williamson, Centertown, and James Williamson, Morrison; four sisters, Mrs. Alton York, Morrison; Mrs. Ray Jordan, Ring Gold, Ga.; Mrs. Herbert Holder, Daylight, and Mrs. Sherman Rogers, Indianapolis, Ind.; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Arrangements were by High Funeral Home.
