Danny Joe Aldridge, 41, son of Oral Aldridge and Audrey Nichols Aldridge, was born Aug. 6. 1955, at Cabool. He died Feb. 4, 1997, in a two-vehicle mishap east of Elk Creek.

He married Nancy Ann Kile Aug. 10,1973. They had two daughters.

Mr. Aldridge was employed for 23 years at Brown Shoe Co. in Cabool and recently went to work for Town & Country Supermarket in Cabool. He attended night classes at Texas County Technical Institute, where he was an honor student.

He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Amy Ann Jackson of Springfield and Andi Afton of the home; his mother of Houston; his grandfather, Harvey Adkins; two brothers, Garold Dee of Houston and Harold Wayne of Piedmont; and four sisters, Rosemary Mooney of Eminence, Jeanie McAlister of Piedmont, Patty Aldridge and Annette Hartman of Houston.

Services were Feb. 7 at the Elliott-Gentry Funeral Home Chapel in Cabool with the Rev. Harold Smith officiating. Burial was in the Tyrone Cemetery.
