MRS. BALDWIN DIES AT 87
Mrs. Fred Baldwin, i7, Duncombe, a former Webster City resident, died this morning at the Ellen Convalescent Home in Fort Dodge where she had been a resident since Sept. 12. She had been in failing health since July.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Foster Funeral Home. Burial will be made in Graceland Cemetery.
Lucy Almeda Allen, daughter of Asel and Elizabeth Allen, was born July 17, 1878, at Webster City and was reared and educated in the Webster City community.
She was united in marriage March 12, 1902, to Fred M. Baldwin, and the couple resided at Webster City until 1943 when they moved to Fort Dodge to make their home with their daughter, Mrs. William Willardson. Since 1958, the couple had resided in Duncombe.
She is survived by her husband; one daughter and two sons, Mrs. William (Myrl) Willardson of Dayton, Iowa, Milton Baldwin of Fresno, Calif., Malcolm Balwin of Burlington, Iowa; five grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Harry Allen of Modesto, Calif., Jesse Allen of Estherville, Iowa and Mrs. Dollie Fate of Morman, Okla.
Mrs. Baldwin was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, William and Harley Allen, and two sister, Julia Allen and Mable Spaulding
