Roeske, Erhardt William Carl, 91, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2012, born in Illinois, raised near Valparaiso, IN.
He was a veteran of WWII and worked in insurance sales for over 33 years. A devout Christian dedicated to his wife Naomi, father of two sons: Mark and David, and two grandchildren: Tyler and Ashley. Erhardt was educated with a Masters in Music at Valparaiso University (Lutheran) where he met Naomi his wife of nearly 64 years.
The family moved to California in 1963 from Homewood, Illinois. Erhardt was a congenial, peaceful mentor and role model to his children. His peaceful devotion to God, family and friends with a touch of humor were his well known character. He used his music in opera, choirs, church, Angel and Dodger (National Anthem) games, and across the country in a religious quartet.
He is survived by his wife and children. Viewing is to be at Shannon-Bryan Mortuary in Orange, CA on Thursday, July 5 from 4-8pm and funeral service at 11am, Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Orange.
