Nancy Cavanor

Mrs. Nancy Cavanor, wife of Jesse D. Cavanor, died Friday the 7th of December, 1916, after a long and lingering illness of paralysis.
She was buried Saturday the 8th of December 1916 at the Mimosa Cemetery.
She was a member of the Christian Church, a good woman and patient of long suffering.
Her husband and two half sisters, Mesdames M. E. Crook and James Massey, survive her.
Nancy J. Kirk married (according to the marriage certificate) Jesse D. Cavanor on 31st day of September 1874 in Lawrence Co., Tennessee.
In most of the census, and other documents found, Jessie and Nancy spelled their last names, Cavandor, Cavander, Cavanor, Cavendor, and Cavner.
Jessie D. was an iron minor, that is how he supported his family.
