WILLIAM HENRY KLINE
William Henry Kline died at his home in Zittlestown, Washington county, Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock from complications, aged 92 years, two months and one day.
He is survived by one son, John C. Kline, and one daughter, Orpha K. Zittle, both of Zittlestown.
He was a veteran of the Civil War, having served as a private in Company I, First Maryland Regiment, Potomac Home Brigade, from November 13, 1861 to December 9, 1864, when he was honorably discharged. Company I was commanded by the late Captain Walter Saunders, of Frederick.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at the Lutheran church in Boonsboro at two o'clock, leaving the home at 1:30. Interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery in Middletown, where a firing squad from Company A, First Maryland Infantry, Frederick, will perform last military rites. Gladhill Company funeral directors in charge.
