Mr. Walter Culler, of near Adamstown, met with an accident yesterday which resulted in the breaking of his shoulder in two places. He was sitting astride a pole upon a wagon which was loaded with hay. Two men were holding down the pole and trying it, when the pole broke, throwing him to the barn floor, about ten feet below, resulting in the breaking of the
shoulder, as already stated. Dr. C. H. Conley was summoned and attended his injuries, and he is doing as wdl as can be expected.

In the 1920 census, William and his family were living in Walkersville, Frederick County, Maryland. He was listed as, William W. Culler, a general farmer, age 42, born in Maryland, his wife, Millie V. age 36, and their children listed were; Edna C. age 14, Julia O. age 12, Helen R. age 10, William W. age 8, and Millie V. age 6, all born in Maryland.

In the 1930 census, William and his family were living in Walkersville, Frederick County, Maryland. He was listed as, William W. Culler, a general farmer, age 52, born in Maryland, his wife, Millie V. age 47 born in Maryland, their children listed were; Edna C. age 24, Helen R. age 20, Walter W. age 18, and Millie V. age 16, all born in Maryland.

W. Walter Culler Sr., 80, retired farmer, of Walkerville, died after a short illness at his home this morning at five o'clock. He was born near Frederick, the son of the late William L. and Sarah (Krantz) Culler. He was a devout member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and Sunday School, having served as church councilman, president of the council, and superintendent of the Sunday school for a number of years. He was a member of the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Millie V. Culler and children; Miss Edna C. Culler, W. Walter Culler, Jr., both at home; Mrs. Helen Barber, of Jamaica, New York, and Mrs. M. Virginia Cooper, of Baltimore. Two grandchildren, Dorothy T. Zimmerman and Glenn D. Zimmerman; one brother, P. H. Culler of this city, a great-uncle, ex-mayor Lloyd C. Culler, and a number of nephews and nieces also survive. The body is at the funeral home in Walkersville where friends may call after three o'clock p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at the Funeral home at two o'clock on Friday. Interment in st. Luke's Cemetery, at Feagaville.
