Miss Eleanor Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Davis, of 85 South Sixth avenue, became the bride of Paul Fox Megonigal, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Megonigal, also of Coatesville, at the Presbyterian Church at Bel Air, Md., on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. E. Glenn Switzer.
Mrs. Megonigal wa graduated from Coatesville High School in the class of 1939 and is employed as bookkeeper at the Chertok's Furniture store.
The groom is a graduate of Unionville High School in the class of 1937 and is employed at Luken-weld, Inc.
The newlyweds are at home to their friends in their newly furnished apartment at 113 South Sixth avenue.

Paul F. Megonigal
A former chairman of the Caln Township Board of Commissioners, Paul F. Megonigal, 59, of 3 Valley View Trailer Park, Honey Brook, died yesterday in Chester County Hospital, West Chester, after a brief illness.
He was born in Brandywine Springs, Del., and was the son of the late Alfonso and Pauline Sapp Megonigal. Mr. Megonigal lived in Honey Brook for the past four years and previously live in the Coatesville area.
Mr. Megonigal was a graduate of Unionville High School and an employee of A & P stores of Coatesville and Downingtown for the past 30 years as a meat cutter.
In 1953, he was elected commissioner of Caln Township and served until December, 1969. From January, 1956, until December, 1969, except for 1962 and 1963, Mr. Megonigal was president of the board.
Mr. Megonigal served on the Citizens Building and Loan Association, the Coatesville Industrial Development Committee, was a Republican committeeman for a number of years, a member of Goddard Lodge 383 F and AM of Coatesville, the Thorndale Fire Co., the Presbyterian Church of Coatesville and the VFW of Downingtown.
He served in the Air Force during World War II in Italy.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandy Jaye, wife of Anthony Massi of Honey Brook; and two brothers, James of Brandywine Manor and William of Downingtown.
Services will be in the Maclean Funeral Home, Coatesville, on Saturday at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Glen Run Cemetery, Atglen.
