They were the parents of: Margaret Matter (1919-1984), Max Collins Matter (1922 - 1972) and June Shirley Matter (1926, 2003)

Mildred (Wright) Collins was born October 8, 1900 in Howard City, Montcalm Co., Michigan and died on March 31, 1991 in Cadillac, Wexford Co., Michigan. She married C. L. Wright on December 20, 1916 in Lansing, Ingham Co., Michigan. They were the parents of five children, two living, Charles Lee Wright (1919-1994), Frances Dorothy Wright (1920-2004) and Robert William Wright (1929-1987).

Mildred and C. L. Wright are buried in Glendale Cemetery also.
