Her groom, Hendrik SMIDTS, born in St. Jacobiparochie, Het Bildt, on July 07, 1856, son of Bartel Oepkes SMIDTS and Wytske Douwes BLOM. His parents married in Het Bildt on March 29, 1838.
A son, named in a Northbridge, Worcester Co., Mass. marriage on Nov. 22, 1910, was named Butler Henry SMITH, 22y, born Holland, living in Northbridge, a painter, wed Miss Lena BEINEMA, 19y, of Northbridge, born Holland; daughter of Mink Beinema and Getske Trynstra.
Even the 1900 Census of Northbridge shows the family of Henry SMITH, b. July/1856; wife- Sjoukje, b. July/1856; daughter- Greta, b. July/1887; and son Butler, b. Nov/1888; all born Holland.
The Friesian birth records show their daughter was born as Grietje SMIDTS on July 03, 1887, municipality of Menaldumadeel; and a son born as Bartele SMIDTS, on Nov. 13, 1888, same locality.
