The marriage of Mr. Cleverley with Miss Mary A. Burtenshaw occurred on February 14, 1875. She came with her parents from England to Utah when she was but three years of age, and is the daughter of John and Sarah Lovell Burtenshaw, her father being now a resident of Bountiful, while her mother is dead. Mr. and Mrs. Cleverley have been the parents of eleven children, James (deceased), Sarah, Millie, John, Lucy, Clarence, Benjamin, Jacob (deceased), Charles, Delbert and Ellen.
