Mrs. Miller was born Nov. 20, 1876, at Walnut, the daughter of Michael and Mary Fitzpatrick McCarty. She grew to womanhood at Walnut and was married there Jan. 20, 1904, to Frank N. Miller. They spent their married life on a farm nine miles southwest of this city, Mr. Miller passing away May 7, 1934.
She leaves as survivors her aged mother, Mrs. Mary McCarty, of Walnut; six children, Mrs. Grace Dolan of Casey, Frances Miller of Marne, Mrs. Gladys Kinen of Wiota, Clarence, Irene and Paul Miller, at home; two brothers, Jesse and Raymond McCarty, both of Walnut; and three sisters, Mrs. Clarence Armstrong of Lewis, Mrs. Grace Ury of Wiota and Mrs. Frank Waters of Wiota.
The funeral will be Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Rev. P.N. McDermott officiating. Rosary will be said this evening and Wednesday evening a 9 o'clock at the family home, nine miles southwest of Atlantic.
