Mrs. EMMA DEAN HOUSE
Mrs. Emma Dean House, 48, of 706 E. Elm St, died Friday, July 29 in a local hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. House was born Dec 13, 1917, at Strong, AR, the daughter of Allen Thurman Finley and Mary Frances Sullivant Finley. She was employed by the El Dorado House as a receiving and shipping clerk in charge of store supplies. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Earnest Smith Jr. of El Dorado, and Mrs. D.L. Wilson of Little Rock; her mother; four grandchildren, Melissa Wilson and Lavelle Wilson, both of Little Rock, and Susan Smith and Loren Smith, both of El Dorado; three brothers, Garland D. Finely and Marcus M. Finley, both of El Dorado, and Doyle B Finley of San Diego, CA; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Louise Cox of Texarkana, AR.
Funeral services were held at 4 pm Sunday at the Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Jay D. Tolleson officiating, assisted by the Rev. Glenn Morgan and Rev. Haskell Lindsey.
Burial was held at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Young's.
Active pallbearers were Joe Wilson, Jack Harper, Johnny McPherson, Clarence Baremore, Willis W. Wilson and Earnest Smith Jr. Honorary pallbearers were R.B. Wilson, O. Worth Camp, Sr., G.J. Schultz, Dr. Paul G. Henley and Dr. Robert Turnbow.

Aunt Dean House made the BEST CRANBERRY SALAD for family holidays! All my earliest great memories are around her table. She was with us for a short time only, so I especially look forward to seeing her in the New Heaven and New Earth.|
