Born Jan. 5, 1876, in Centerville, she was the daughter of Thomas and Emma Aire, who predeceased her.
On Oct. 2, 1895, she was married in What Cheer to Frank C. Cory, who died in 1944.
Surviving are the following daughters: Mrs. Will (Faye) Frakes, Austin, Minn; Mrs. Dan L. (Irma) Wayner, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mrs. C. Warren (Emma) Carter, Cleveland, Ohio: one son, Byron B. Cory, Webster City; eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Bud (Edith) Dunlap and Mrs. Elizabeth Schlitz of Sigourney, one son is predeceased.
Mrs. Cory was a member of the First Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
Her body was taken to the Weir-Cookes Funeral Home where the arrangements are pending the arrival of relatives.
