Peter P. Laskos, 54, of 315 E. Walnut St., died at 9:20 p.m. Monday in Titusville Hospital following a short illness.
He was born in Titusville June 6, 1915, the son of Joseph and Josephine Laskos. Mr. Laskos was married to Annetta Carson on Jan. 2, 1940 at Warrenton, Va. She died Feb. 28, 1963.
He married he former Mary Hoban Come on June 5, 1967, in St. Titus Church.
Mr. Laskos was a graduate of Titusville Church.
Mr. Laskos was a graduate of Titusville High School class of 1934. He was employed by Universal-Cyclops Specialty Steel Corp. as an inventory clerk in the production control department.
On Feb. 15, 1970, he would ahve completed 35 years service with Cyclops.
He was a member of St. Walburga Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Polish National Alliance.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. James (Marian) Taylor of Titusville and Mrs. Murray (Doris Hipwell of Madison, Conn.; a stepson, Phillip Come of Titusville; two grandsons and two granddaughters; one brother, George Laskos of Titusville; three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Mary) Schossler and Mrs. Peter (Agnes) Bajcrek of Titusville and Mrs. Edward (Sophie) Sonoski of Oil City; a number of nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Stanley, Adam and John, died previously.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Requiem mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Walburga Church with Rev. George Groucutt and Rev. William D. SMith as concelebrants.
Interment will be in St. Catharines's Cemetery.
