Raymond (Red) Lassetter, 56, died Jan 30, 1983 in Houston. Services at Wilkirson Hatch chapel, burial in Rosemound Cemetery. Mr. Lassetter was born in Riesel Texas on Feb 14, 1926, and attended schools there. He worked at Mexia State School as an aide, was a Korean War Veteran, and a Baptist. Survivors include: wife, Mrs. Charlsie Lassetter; five daughters, Mrs. Sandra Modl of Bedford TX; Mrs. Debra Hamie of Grand Prairie TX, Miss Pamela Lassetter of San Jose CA, Mrs. Sharon Neal of Gholson TX, and Mrs. Judy Dominguez of China Spring; four sons, Lonnie Lassetter of Clifton ARK, Mike Poe of Gholson TX, Tony Poe of Valley Mills TX and Randy Poe of Arizona; two sisters, Mrs. Louis Owen and Mrs. Tennie Petrich both of Waco, three brothers, Zeke Lassetter of Robinson TX, Frank Lassetter of Waco and Richard Lassetter of Houson; and 12 grandchildren.
