Memorial services for Harlan Wayne Wittenhagen, 68, of Leesville, will be held at 7 p.m., today, Friday, Oct. 8, 2004 at Oak Grove Congregational Methodist Church in Burr Ferry with Rev. Melvin Smith officiating under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Wittenhagen died Tuesday, Oct. 5, at his residence in Leesville. He was a Retired U.S. Army E-7 after serving for 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Monika Wittenhagen of Leesville; one son, Mark and wife Amanda Wittenhagen of Evans; one daughter, Karen and husband Brian Hammons of Natchez, Miss; one brother, Dwain Wittenhagen of Leesville; four sisters, Carol Fox of San Bernardino, Calif., Delores Jenney and Sharon Burnsides, both of Omaha, Neb., and bonnie Puepke of Mitchell, S.D.; and two grandchildren, Clay and Collin Hammons.
