Rev. Samuel I. Acheson, D.D.

Funeral services are being held in Chicago today for Rev. Samuel I. Acheson, D.D., pastor of the Fifth United Presbyterian Church, who died there June 27, 1952. Further services are to be held in Greenville at the Baird funeral home on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., in charge of Rev. Brainerd Jamison and Rev. Ralph Mansfield, and interment is to follow in Shenango Valley Cemetery.

The Chicago pastor, a former missionary to Egypt, had visited in Greenville on many summer vacations. His wife, Mrs. Hazel Acheson, is a sister of Mrs. Albert Mossman, 303 Clinton Street.

Survivors, in addition to Mrs. Acheson, include a son, Allen Acheson, Carroll, Ia., and a daughter, Ruth Acheson, at home. Also surviving are two brothers, Rev. Willard Acheson, Cairo, Egypt, and Col. Herbert Acheson, San Antonio, Tex., and a sister, Mrs. Ada Dunlap, Assuit, Egypt.
