Mrs. Martha Dodrill, 78, of Strange Creek, Clay County, died Saturday in a Gassaway Hospital after a long illness.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mida Turner of Duck; two sons, Wadie and Early, both of Strange Creek; one sister, Mrs. Maggie Dorsey of Gassaway; four brothers, Wade Taubert of Strange Creek, George and Henry Taubert, both of Gassaway, and Decater Taubert of Charleston; and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 11 a. m. at the Walnut Grove Methodist Church, the Rev. Ernest Hammack officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of the Clay Funeral Home of Clay.
The body will remain at the funeral home until Sunday at 5 p.m. when it will be moved to the home the son, Wadie, at Strange Creek.
