Sharon Louise Nothnagel, 72, of KCMO passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Research Medical Center. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 1st from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at D.W. Newcomer's Sons, Floral Hills Chapel; followed by a service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Sharon was born November 17, 1939 in Wymore, NE to Charles W. and Edna D. (McCown) Hottenstein and and had lived in this area since 1952. Before retiring she had been a Coordinator with the McGraw-Hill Companies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry R. Nothnagel in 1994, 3 children, Amy Nothnagel, Jeffrey Nothnagel, Don Nothnagel, a sister, Lila Elbe and a brother, Robert Hottenstein. Survivors include a son and his wife, Steven E. and Sandra Nothnagel of Harrisonville, MO, a sister, Martha Brown of Jacksonville NC, 2 brothers, Charles Hottenstein of Jacksonville, NC, Larry Hottenstein of Chicago, IL, 7 grandchildren, 11great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
