Her first husband was Jesse Rubel Jr. who came to Kentucky from Virginia around 1820 and settled in Middletown, located between Louisville and Shelbyville, Kentucky. He was a tailor by trade ("History of Kentucky" Battle and Perrin, Chicago 1887, p.989). He died early of cholera on August 13, 1833. They had 5 children: James Lewis, William Fielding, Martha B., Owen, and Jesse III.

She married John Randolph on April 24, 1836. They had four sons: Thomas, Andrew, Albert, and Charles.
