The funeral service for Pearl Bennett will be Tuesday, November 22, 2010 at 1pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Home, 210 Greensburg ST, with Bro. John Blakey and Bro. Steve Coffey the officiating clergy. Interment in Morris Chapel Cemetery, 48 Morris Chapel RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 3:30pmCT Monday, November 22, 2010.
Pearl Bennett, Adair Co., KY (1916-2010)
She was born on February 20, 1916. She was the daughter of the late Cassius and Ina Coomer Coffey. She was the widow of Robert Jackson Bennett who preceded her in death on May 5, 1991.
Survived by the following: One daughter: Naomi and her husband John Burton of Columbia, KY
Two sons: Bobby and his wife Vola Bennett and Nathan and his wife Brenda Bennett of Columbia, KY
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Estleene Bennett in 1943; one daughter-in-law Mary Geraldine Bennett on February 7, 2009; one great grandson Caleb Sneed; seven brothers, Ural, Garon, Joe, Earl, Elroy, Clavis and Raymond Coffey; three sisters Charity Edwards, Margie Corbin and Avis Coffey
She attended the Milltown United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
