Funeral Services for Evelyn Marie Andersen age 85 of Plainview will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 21st, 2017 at the First United Congregational Church in Plainview with burial in the Danish Cemetery rural Plainview. Visitation for Evelyn Anderson will be one hour prior to service at the Church. Evelyn Marie (Bullock Andersen passed away March 17, 2017 at the Plainview Manor.
Evelyn was born on September 20, 1931 in Meadow Grove, Nebraska to Verner and Goldie Bullock. She attended school in Madison, Stanton and Norfolk. On September 2oth, 1951 Evelyn married Reinhold Anderson to this union 5 children were born. She married Wayne Andersen on February 12, 1976. Evelyn worked at the Plainview Hospital and Manor, owned and operated the Pine Room for 8 years, sold Avon was a hostess for Navigator and Managed the Plainview Senior Center for 15 years retiring in 2005.
Evelyn enjoyed backing, playing word seek, live theatre, traveling, gardening and having coffee with friends. She was blessed to have so many years with her Children, grandchildren and Great grandchildren.
Evelyn is survived by Deborah Anderson of Bellevue, Linda (Alan) Cram of Aurora, David (Lorna) Anderson of Sioux Falls, Anita (Jim) Keetle of Norfolk. 14 grandchildren and a growing number of great and great-great grandchildren.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, 6 siblings, husband Reinhold (Andy) Anderson, husband Wayne Andersen, 1 step-son and 2 daughter's.
