April 4, 1990 - Carroll Daily Times - Nancy Pearson, 79, of Lake City died Tuesday, April 3, at Stewart Memorial Hospital in Lake City. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Huffman Memorial Chapel in Lake City with the Rev. David Plooster officiating. Burial will be in the Lake City cemetery. Visitation will begin after noon Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pearson was born Dec. 24, 1910 in Edison, Tenn., a daughter of Thomas and Dosha (Boother) Vaughan. On Feb. 24, 1924, she married Asa Pearson in Tennessee. They lived in Lake City for the last 50 years. She was a member of the Lake City Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Asa Pearson Jr. of Mount Vernon, Wash., and T.J. Pearson of Duncan, Okla.; daughters, Ruth (Mrs. John) Rotert of Berkley, Mich., Alice Lindqulst of Odebolt, Mary (Mrs. Ed) Caraway of Duncan, Okla., Nancy (Mrs. Vincent) Lensing of Orland Park, Illinois; 20 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a brother, T.J. Vaughan of Florida, John Vaughan of Johnson City, Tenn. and a sister, Ida Richardson of Gray, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Asa in 1985; one granddaughter; three great grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters.
