Nannie A. Perryman, daughter of Joseph and Dorinda Perryman, was born in Shelby county, Illinois, on August 25, 1857, and departed this life May 11, 1935, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hill, Massena, Iowa.
She was united in marriage to G. W. Miller at Shelbyville, Ill., January 1, 1873. One daughter was born to this union. Mrs. Addie Free of Iconium, Iowa. Mr. Miller passed away September 27, 1876.
On July 3, 1877, Mrs. Miller was united in marriage to R. W. Cormack, Adams county, Iowa. Mr. Cormack departed this life March 23, 1933. To this union was born six daughters, Mrs. Josa Mills and Mrs. Ella Redman of Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Jessie Hedger of Halliday, N. Dak.; Mrs. Ruth Barker, of Golden Valley, N. Dak.; Mrs. Edd Hill of Massena, Iowa and Miss Lutie Cormack, of Shambaugh, Iowa.
Besides the seven daughters, there are ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren to mourn her loss.
Mrs. Cormack was converted at the age of fourteen, and remained a faithful Christian, and a life-long worker in the church. Funeral services were held at the Shambaugh M. E. church, Monday, May 13, conducted by Rev. Ellis of Massena. Burial was at the Shambaugh cemetery.
Mrs. Cormack lived both at Carbon and Corning when her husband operated the mill at each place and her many friends will regret to learn of her death.
