Janean I. Rubley, 79, of Bronson, passed away on , July 23, 2012 at her home after a more than 10 year battle with cancer.
Interment will follow at Bronson Cemetery.
Janean was born on April 1, 1933 in Bethel Township, Michigan to Maurice and Marian (Taylor) Honeywell.
She graduated from Bronson High School in 1951 and married Marshall H. Rubley on June 14, 1952 at the First Baptist Church in Bronson.
She lived in Bronson all of her life.
Janean was primarily a homemaker during her life, but had several jobs through the years. She had worked at Floy's in Bronson, CHC as a nurse's aide, secretary for the Bronson Co-Op and had operated a daycare at her home.
She was a foster parent to many area kids. She was very proud to have served as the Election Inspector and Chairperson for Bronson Township for 41 consecutive years. She also served on the Bronson Township board for several years.
Mrs. Rubley is survived by her husband of 60 years, Marshall Rubley, her 2 sons her grandchildren , her great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Todd Rubley, her brother Harold Honeywell, her sisters Ruth Mitchell and Luellen Wells..
