Eldrick J. Arsenault, 81, North Port, died Sept. 27, 2004.
He was born Sept. 4, 1923, in Chelsea, Mass., and came to North Port in 2001 from New Haven, Conn. He was a die maker for the Bridgeport Paper Box for 23 years and at Custom Cartons for 10 years. He served in the Army during World War II.
He was a member of the Lancraft Fife and Drum Corps in North Haven, the Company of Fifers and Drummers in Deep River, Conn., and the VFW and American Legion, both in North Port. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Helen; daughters Kathy Staron of Northford, Conn., and Karen Shiley of Graniteville, S.C.; sons Eldrick Jr. of East Haven, Conn., and Kenneth of Browns Mills, N.J.; sisters Frances Carey of Hamden, Conn., and Mary A. Hughes of West Haven; and three grandchildren.
Burial will be in New Haven. James A. McKee Funeral Home, North Port, is in charge.
