Jeffrey died as results of an Anoxic Brain Injury at the age of 26.
Son it pained us so much to watch you suffer, you fought SO hard for 3 long weeks and it took it's toll on your body, forcing us to make the hardest decision we will ever make. You left us way too soon, our hearts weighing heavy with the choice made and the void. You will always be missed and forever remembered for the special gift you had in the ability to lighten any situation with your humor and laughter. Life certainly was not dull with you around. The way you sang and danced throughout your young life, your love of music and cars, your artistic talent of drawing tattoo artwork. So many wonderful memories that makes us smile and keeps us going, you are loved by so many. If only I could have one more "Kitchen" dance with you. ~ Mom ....
A SISTERS PROMISE
Jeffrey, in your last remaining days here on earth and in my struggle to accept what was inevitably going to happen to you, a dear friend of mine told me "a loved one is never dead unless they are forgotten"
So going forward, I promise you this:
When I hear the sound of music, I will think of you
When I see a funny dance, I will think of you
When I see a piece of amazing art,
I will think of you
When I see a pair of gorgeous baby blue eyes, I will think of you
When I can put a smile on someone's face as you did for so many, I will think of you
There will never be a moment that goes by that I don't think of you. You will live on in my heart and my memories of you will be cherished everyday. I hope I can go on and be half as strong as you were. I am so honored that the good Lord chose me to be your big sister. I wouldn't have had it any other way.
