Inez Clement died Sunday January 14, 2001 in Wellington at the age of 91.

Ms. Clement was born May 2, 1909 in Oklaunion to Elmer and Ethel Stansell Clement. She came to the Fresno Community of Collingsworth County in 1915 with her family. She attended school at Pleasant Point, Fresno and graduated from Wellington High School in 1930. She farmed with her sister in the Fresno area for 25 years, retiring in 1979. They were in the catering business for over 21 years, serving clubs such as the Wellington Kiwanis Club and the Wellington B&PW.

A member of the First Baptist Church, she retired from the children's Sunday School Department at First Baptist Church at the first of January where she had been a teacher, secretary and director for over 50 years.

Survivors include a sister, Mabel Clement; two brothers, Stansel Clement of Lamesa and Eli Clement of Mineral Wells; two nieces, Pat Ranson of Lamesa and Judy Bland of Mineral Wells and a nephew, Dr. Robert L. Clement of Austin.
