Obituary
Remembrance of Little Clark Allen Christie, Born July 14, 1896.
But the little light flickered and went out, May 9, 1903, to God who gave it, to shine in the chandelier of God's eternal love.
The flower that had been tended with such care, nurtured with the loving hand of a tender affectionate mother; guided by the wisdom of a truly devoted father; led through his brief life by an idolizing sister, yet, "The Heavenly Father thought it best To take him to His Heavenly Home To lean on Jesus' breast."
And he, whom we all knew and loved as little Clark Christie, id dead. The flower that had only budded int his life is blooming around God's eternal throne and the perfume of that sweet, innocent life is being wafted through the "Eternal City" and caught up on the pinons of his little companions and carried back to the throne of the eternal King, and all heaven rejoices, "For of such is the Kingdom of Heaven".
Like Timothy, he was always striving, with a searching mind, to learn more of Jesus. He served, the battle through, and having done all to stand.
The funeral services were held at the Baptist church, Monday afternoon at 3 p.m., conducted by the pastor, Rev. Dillon. The theme of the discourse was taken from....22:5, little Clark's favorite book. At the cemetery the choir sang "Looking This Way" while all that was mortal of little Clark was committed to mother earth to await the second coming of our Lord.
One less at home!"
The charmed circle broken-a dear face Missed day by day from its accustomed place. But cleansed and saved, and perfected by grace, One more in Heaven!
