Paul Wade Adams, 61, of Lumberton, passed away on July 18, 2012 at his home.

He was born on October 1, 1950 in Robeson County.

Paul was a veteran of the US Army and was formerly employed as a general contractor.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Adams, Sr; and a brother, Mitchell Adams.

Paul is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cathy Adams; one son, Paul Adams, Jr. (Tracy Lassiter) of Lumberton; two daughters, Nicole Fairfax (Jason) of Lumberton and Caitlyn Adams of the home; his mother, Geneva Musselwhite, of Lumberton; two brothers, Clyde Adams, Jr. of Lumberton and Terry Adams of Troy; two sisters, Betty Rogers of Lumberton and Barbara Sykes of Virginia; and two grandchildren, Paul Wade Adams III and Madalynn Nicole Fairfax.

The funeral services will be held at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles Brust officiating. The burial services will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
