Squire Stephen LAMMON, son of George W. and Eliza (EDDY) LAMMON was born on 25 April 1839 in Genesee Co., New York. He died on 3 June 1911 in Hot Springs, Fall River Co., South Dakota. He was buried at Methodist Cemetery, in Ethan, Davison Co., South Dakota. (Grave #5, Lot #55, Block.#3.)
NOTE: Squire's middle name "Stephen" found on his son Charles Eddy LAMMON's delayed birth record. This is the only reference to the middle name Stephen I have come across.
Squire married (1) Louisa LERCH on 6 December 1865 in Monticello, Jones Co., Iowa. Louisa was born on 23 June 1819. She died on 16 Mar 1867 in Monticello, Jones Co., Iowa. She was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Lovell Township, Jones Co., Iowa.

"LAMMON, Charley (no date) Lot #227, Grave #8 Squire's first wife seems to have been 25 years older than him. She died 15 mos. after they were married. No trace of her or her family in Iowa in the 1860 census. Could Charley have been their child and she died during childbirth or soon after?
On the burial plot records, it states that all the plots were in the name of William Crane.
Squire married (2) Elizabeth (Lizzie) MANLEY daughter of Solomon MANLEY and Catharine FARAGHER on 29 December 1867 in Monticello, Jones Co., Iowa. Elizabeth was born on 7 May 1851 in Foxdale, Kirk Patrick, Isle of Man, Great Britain. She died on 25 November 1890 in Parkston, Hutchinson Co., South Dakota.
She was buried in Dakota Cemerery, Parkston, Hutchinson Co., South Dakota.

Elizabeth (MANLEY) LAMMON Obituary:

Monticello Express Newspaper, Monticello, Iowa
"27 Nov.1890 - Dr. and Mrs. O.B. Rundle left last Tuesday evening for Mabel, Dakota, to attend the funeral of Mrs. Rundles' only sister, Mrs. Squire Lammon. A telegram was received stating that she had died that morning after a short illness. Mr. and Mrs. Lammon were formerly residents of this township where a large number of friends mourn the death of Mrs. Lammon and sympathize with the husband. "

ii. Harrison Van (Harry) LAMMON was born on 12 June 1875 in Monticello, Iowa. He died on 28 October 1946 in Fort Sumner, De Baca Co., New Mexico. He was buried in Fort Sumner, De Baca Co., New Mexico.

iii. Gertrude S. LAMMON was born on 12 December 1881 in Monticello, Iowa. She died on 13 February 1943 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.
Gertrude married Charles Morgan KIPP son of William H. KIPP and Sarah Ann DUVALL about 1900.
Charles was born in 1875 in Missouri. He died on 26 June 1933 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.

iv. Lillian (Lillie) Manley LAMMON was born on 2 March 1883. She died on 30 March 1966 in Ethan, Davison Co.,
South Dakota. She was buried in 1966 in Ethan, Davison Co., South Dakota.
Lillian married George Edgar BRINK, son of William Horatio BRINK and Elizabeth E. (Betsy)
STAINBROOK on 2 August 1899 in Parkston, Hutchinson Co., South Dakota. George was born on 27 October 1869 in Dane Co., Wisconsin. He died on 22 August 1952 in Ethan, Davison Co., South Dakota.

v. Charles"ED" Eddie LAMMON was born on 20 May 1886 in Parkston, Hutchinson Co., South Dakota. He died on 20 December 1959 in Ethan, Davison Co., South Dakota. He was buried in Dakota City Cemetery, in Parkston,Hutchinson Co., South Dakota.
Charles"ED" married (2) Helen M. HEMENWAY on 29 June 1918 in Mitchell, Davison Co., South Dakota. The marriage ended in divorce.Helen was born in 1889.
Charles"ED" married (3) Myrtle M. KISTLER on 28 September 1948 in Mitchell, South Dakota. Myrtle died on 12 December 1957 in Davison Co., South Dakota.
Squire married (3) Eliza Jane DUVALL on 22 December 1891 in Mable Township, Hutchinson Co., South Dakota. Eliza was born on 16 October 1855 in Kentucky. She died on 8 March 1920 at 64 years, 4 mos., and 8 days. in Ethan, Davison Co., South Dakota. She was buried at the Methodist Cemetery, in Ethan, Davison , South Dakota.

vi. Maude E LAMMON was born in 1892. She died in 1894 in Parkston, Hutchinson Co., South Dakota. She was buried in Parkston, Hutchinson , South Dakota.
vii. Helen Ruth LAMMON born 9 February 1896 in Parkston , Hutchinson Co., South Dakota. She died 5 January 1967 in Parkston, South Dakota. She married William F. FIX. He was born 17 August 1896 in Arkansas. He died 25 July 1972 in Ethan, Davison Co., South Dakota.

John married Stella Marie KETCHAM on 23 April 1921 in Philip, Haakon Co., South Dakota. Stella was born on 8 October 1894. She died on 23 December 1964.
