Mary Ann, a daughter of Robert and Esther Edmunds, married Townsend N. North, son of Daniel North and Elizabeth (Betsey) Townsend, in 1838. They had had seven children and two stillborn infants:
1) James Edmunds North (1839-1874), who married Emily J. Black;
2) Mary E. North (1843-1909), who married James Johnson;
3) Elizabeth Ann North (1844-1879);
4) William North (1847-1870);
5) George Porter North (1854-1856);
6) Frank North (1858-1943), who married Jennie C. Sweetland;
7) Charles Elmer North (1861-1862).
After Mary Ann's death, Townsend remarried to Lydia Celia Gibson. They had three children:
1) Alma L. North (1867-1952);
2) Ula North (1871-1964);
3) Lena T. North (1882-1970), who married Roy E. Bodimer.
