Mrs. Arloa Miner Siple, of Hammond, died Sunday, February 25th, on her 88th birthday. She was born in Ohio, spent many years in Iowa and Missouri before moving here in 1890. All of her children were born in Iowa, except Frank, who is a native of Hammond. In 1869 she married Elias Siple, who preceded her in death 45 years. Funeral was Wednesday with interment in Greenlawn cemetery.
Survivors include: Albert Siple of Hammond, George Siple of Oregon, IL, Willis Siple of Memphis, TN, Bessie Siple Dittmar of Victory, CO, Frank Siple of Grand Rapids, MI and Ella M. Siple of Hammond; 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
