Naomi Crawford, 99, of Olathe, Kan., formerly of Greenville, died the night of March 15, 2008, at Aberdine Village in Olathe. A graveside service is scheduled at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at East Mount Cemetery in Greenville under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Marvin McDaniel will officiate.

Visitation is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

The daughter of John William and Nancy Roana Earnhart Bost, she was born June 21, 1908, in Meridian, Texas. She and her husband, Lawrence Crawford, owned and operated Crawford's Car Agency and Crawford's Grocery Store in Greenville for many years. Formerly a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Greenville, she was a member of College Church of the Nazarene in Olathe, Kan. She graduated from Southern Nazarene University, formerly Bethany Peniel College, in Bethany, Okla., and taught school for five years in Bethany before her marriage. Following her husband's death in 1973, she moved to Olathe, Kan., and became manager of the MidAmerica Nazarene University Bookstore before retiring with 10 years' service.

Surviving are a daughter, Donna Crawford-Gentry and husband Kale; a son, Will Crawford and wife Dru; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Ministerial Scholarship Fund at MidAmerica Nazarene University.
