Noah Dean Winstead, born Feb. 14, 2002, went home to be with Jesus, whom he loved and was his best friend, and joined shortly by his other best friend, Nate.
He had a contagious love for pool, lake, outdoors, his companion dog, Fred and his enormous love for life and fun. He loved his First Baptist Church family, Cornerstone and Pastor Tim Thompson.
He was such a prayer warrior with the ability to portray God's love and his personal relationship. Noah's favorite verse "John 3:16″ was written on his bathroom mirror.
He leaves a host of family and friends to join him later, parents, Todd and Jessica Winstead; sister, Haleigh Raye and brother, Corbin Winstead; grandparents, Susan Swain Mills, Dean and Priscilla Mills, the late Raymond Winstead and Carolyn Winstead; great-grandparents, David and Barbara Mills of Knoxville, Agnes Swain and the late James Swain of Morristown, Hazel Greene and the late Judge Greene of Sneedville; uncles, Dustin Santos of Morristown, Jonathan Mills of Nashville and Justin Greene and wife, Brittany of Morristown; many great aunts, great uncles and extended family.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2012 in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Morristown with funeral services to follow at 6 p.m. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2012 in Jarnagin Cemetery.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Cornerstone Academy scholarship fund so that other children may be able to receive a Christ-centered education like Noah was blessed to have received.
Arrangements by Mayes Family Services of Morristown, Downtown Chapel.
