Florence Emily Astle Pigeon, a former Belle Vernon resident, of Trenton,Mich., died suddenly at her home on Thursday, Jan.17,1981. She was 59. Born Aug. 23,1921 in Stockdale, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Amy Jones Astle. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Aldo Angelocci, in 1956. Survivors include a son, Ronald Angelocci of Grosse Ile, Mich., two daughters, Mrs. Steven (Lorna) Bakos of Glendale, Ariz., and Mrs. Timothy (Janice) Summers of Charleroi, two brothers, Woodrow L. Astle of Belle Vernon and Raymond J.Astle of Pittsburgh, three sisters, Mrs.Marion Auther of Fayette City, Mrs.Doris Tulley and Mrs. Lorna Jean Greco, both of Allentown, and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, one hour before memorial services on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. Father Keith L. Ackerman, rector of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Charleroi. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson, funeral director, is in charge of arrangements.
