Galion - Gregory Scott Ellison, 21, retired U. S. Marine sergeant and Viet Nam Veteran, died at 3 a.m. today in Galion Community Hospital. His home was on Galion-New Winchester Road.
Originally, he was from Richlands, VA
Surviving are his widow, Ida (Langoeh) Ellison, his father, John of Lorain; his mother, Mrs. Steven (Lillian) Lynds of Mount Vernon, 2 daughters, Lori and Lillian; brothers and sisters, John Ellison Jr of Mount Gilead, Tracy of Lorain, Keith, Grace, Tony, Cheryl and Loretta of Mount Vernon, a half brother, Shad Lynds of Mount Vernon; a grandmother, Mrs Grace Taylor of Richmond, VA, and a grandfather, Dyle Hogston of Big Rock, VA.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in Flowers Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mount Vernon. Burial will be in Mound View Cemetery there.
