Betty Jo King Rose, age 59 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at Blount Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Rose; and parents, Odus and Cecil McCarter King.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Ron Branch of Knoxville; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Genia Rose of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Christi and Willie ``Foot'' Hairston of Maryville; grandchildren, Leslie Jenkins, Megan Rose ``Nana's Little Munchkin'', and Nicholas Hairston; great-grandson, Caleb Huffstetler; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Sue and Jack McCarter of Sevierville and Dorothy Jean and Jack Felix of Sevierville; brother and sister-in-law, J. T. and Betty King of Gatlinburg; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2005 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Scott White officiating. Family and friends will meet at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2005. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
