Funeral Services for Mrs. Merrill Wade
---Funeral services for Mrs. (Florence) Wade, 66, wife of Merrill Wade who lives on County Line drive, south of Homer, were held Wednesday at the Marsh funeral home in Litchfield with Dr. J. C. Shull officiating. Interment was in West Clarendon cemetery.
---Mr. and Mrs. Wade were on a motor trip when she was taken ill at Yuma Arizona, and underwent surgery. She passed away Feb. 10.
---She ws born in Clarendon township, March 31, 1899 the daughter of George and Bertha (Mills) King.
---On May 20, 1919 she married Merrill Wade and they have since resided on a farm south of Homer.
---Surviving besides her husband, are two sons, Marvin of Homer and Richard of Albion, eight grandchildren, four sisters Mrs. Clinton (Ethel) Gridley, Mrs. Carleen (Elsie) McCullough, Mrs. Richard (Eva) Iles all of Homer and Mrs. Colon (Carolyn) Brockey of Jackson, a brother Vernon King of Eckford.
