Funeral Services for C. Merrill Wade
---Funeral services for C. Merrill Wade, 68, a farmer in Butler township, who passed away on Wednesday morning at the Community Health Center in Coldwater, were held at the Marsh funeral home in Litchfield today at 2:30 o'clock with interment in West Clarendon Cemetery.
---Mr. Wade was born on the farm where he lived July 11, 1897 the son of Milan O. and Maggie (Hyde) Wade.
---He graduated from Homer high school in 1916 and on May 20, 1919 he married Miss Florence L. King. She preceded him in death Feb. 10, 1966.
---Mr. Wade served as president of the Litchfield Telephone co. for many years.
---Surviving are 2 sons, Richard Wade of Albion and Marvin Wade of Homer, nine grandchildrne[sic] and a sister, Mrs. Edwin (Elma) Woodliff of Allen Park, Mich.
