Reynolds, George Sanford (Sandy) – age 56 of Knoxville used his Golden Ticket to Heaven on Thursday, July 12, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Sandy graduated from Holston High School in 1973 where he was called "Stump." He attended college at Tennessee Tech and Johnson Bible College. Owner of Courtesy Body Works, Inc in Knoxville. Member of Lyons Creek Baptist Church where he served as an Associate Pastor, Youth Minister, and Benevolence Minister. He also served as Youth Minister at Ridgeview Baptist Church, and Deacon and Youth Minister at Loveland Baptist Church. His favorite thing was helping others. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, coaching youth ball teams, youth car racing with son, Josh, and watching son, Micah, play baseball. Sandy had a huge heart and was a "Gentle Giant."

Preceded in death by parents, Glen and Evelyn Reynolds; nephew, Matthew J. Cissna; and former father-in-law, Leon Lyle.

Survived by sons, Josh Reynolds and wife Stacy, and Micah Reynolds; brother, Charles Reynolds; sister, Pat Semmer and husband Dr. John Semmer; special girlfriend who provided much love and comfort, Becky Lawson; grandson, Landon Ty Reynolds; niece, Trina Reiling; nephews, Adam Cissna and wife Mary Beth, and Jeremy Moore; great niece and nephew, Emma Grace and Matthew Adam Cissna.

Special thanks to physicians and staff at Tennessee Cancer Specialists and Tennova North Infusion Center. Funeral services will be 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Bridges Funeral Home with Scott Childs and Dr. Ed Cloud officiating.

Family and friends will meet 2:45 PM on Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery for 3:00 PM interment. If you wish in lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted and used to purchase items for others at the Cancer Infusion Center where he received care.
