A. J. Wingo, 37, died at a local hospital yesterday afternoon after a short illness. Funeral services will be held at noon today at the Mount Zion Baptist Church, the Rev. J. S. Cobb officiating. Interment will be in the churchyard. He is survived by his widow; four children, Ralph, Pauline, Kenneth and John Geddes; his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. John WIngo of Inman, Route 4; three brothers, Vernon of Atlanta, Tom of Denver, Col. Robert of Inman Route 4, and four sisters, Mrs. Paul Bradley of Jackson Mill, Miss Fannie Britton of Washington, D. C., Mrs. Margaret Bridgeman of Inman Route 4 and Miss Rosa Kate Wingo of Inman Route 4.
