Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Kirkland, age 56, of Corryton, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Martha Kirkland; grandparents, Minnie and Walter Kirkland and Hazel and John Allen.
Survivors include his wife, Lynda Everett Kirkland; son, Ronald Grayson Kirkland; daughter, Sheri Lynn Kirkland; step son, Michael Hankins; grandchildren, Jordan, Madlyn, Vann, Morgan and Emily; brother, David Kirkland; sisters, Kathy Malabey and Tammy Windham; special family members, Mary Bolin and her son, Charles; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life service will be held Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Grace Covenant Church on Inskip Road in Knoxville. Family and friends will meet 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at Dotson Memorial Cemetery, Rev. Jeremiah Parker officiating.
