Cecil McDowell and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Athow and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Clint Paull and children spent the Fourth at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Radcliffe along with a large group of other guests. A picnic dinner was enjoyed after which the crowd took in the celebration at Blockhouse Mineral Springs.

The entertainment furnished by the Grangers and the school last Saturday evening was well attended and a huge success in every way. The play, "A Perplexing Situation," was well handled, and while each actor did excellent work, special mention is due Miss Velma Conlee, as the Irish servant, and Ed. Tuttle as "Uncle Epitumas," who certainly were the life of the play. The cast follows:
