Funeral Services will be held at a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church for Geraldine Marie Girouard, 72, who passed away on October 23, 2010 at 1:30 am.
Reverend Edward Duhon, Jr., will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Entombment will take place in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
Mrs. Girouard, a resident of Broussard, LA, was the daughter of the former Lunez Blanchard of St. Martinville, Louisiana. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
She is survived by her husband, Larry P. Girouard; three daughters, Kathy McClure and husband Lee of Spring, TX, Lynn Thompson and husband Dave of Spring, TX and Keri Freeman and husband Tim of Broussard, LA; two sons, Troy Bourque of Henderson, LA and Blair Bourque and wife Lanetta of Leesville, LA; three step-sons, Jeremy Girouard and wife Heidi of Broussard, LA, Perry Bourque and wife Ferell of Lydia, LA, and Kenny Bourque of Port Barre, LA; one step-daughter, Carol Stelly and husband Rudy of Milton, LA; twenty grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Gregory P. Bourque.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 111 North Washington Street, Broussard, Louisiana was in charge of funeral arrangements.
