OBERER, Myrtle (nee Scheidel) On Monday, July 9, 2012, at her residence, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Russell Oberer (2009) for 65 years. Loving mother of Elizabeth Koenig (late Kenneth) of Waterloo, Calvin Oberer (Mia) of Cambridge and Cameron Oberer (Sandy Westinghouse) of Calgary. Cherished Grandmother of Neil, Shawn, Russell Jr., Caroline and Andrea. Adored Great-Grandmother of Katie, Dougan and Richard. Survived by siblings Howard of Fergus and Raymond of Kitchener and Ruth Bauman (Howard) of St. Catharines. Predeceased by her parents, Alymer and Rudy Scheidel and a brother Clifford. Myrtle retired from Kramer of Kitchener after 23 years of service and was a member of the NCHA campers group. Myrtle's family will receive relatives and friends Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 13, 2012 in the funeral home Chapel, with reception to follow.
