Owen F. Arnold, 96, of Frostburg, MD formerly of Meyersdale, died Saturday July 7, 2012 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, MD. Born April 17, 1916 in Salisbury, PA the son of the late Fred F. and Annie (Baer) Arnold. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, V. Virginia (Baker) Arnold; grandson: Gary Wayne Coburn; 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Survived by his five daughters: Shelba Coburn and husband Roland "Ronnie", Jamesville, NC; Jane Brode and husband Paul and Mildred Milcetich and husband Anthony, all of Frostburg, MD; Lois Cook and husband Dennis, Cumberland, MD; Darlene Bull and husband John, Pasadena, MD; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren. Also survived by 2 sisters: Leetta Baer of Goodwill Mennonite Nursing Home, Grantsville, MD, and Leora Wilhelm, FL.
Mr. Arnold was a member of New Hope United Church of Christ, Meyersdale.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Pastor Dwayne Hay officiating.
