Louise Josephine Thomas Brittain, 87, of 970 Tamworth Road, Asheboro, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000, at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home.
Funeral service will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro, with Dr. Boyd Stokes officiating. A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. at Raleigh Memorial Park.
She was a native of Anson County, the widow of A.C. Brittain, a homemaker and a member of Edenton Street United Methodist Church.
Surviving are son, Steve Brittain of Asheboro; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. Monday, other times at the home.
